A relatively unknown producer in the U.S., Danjean-Berthoux produces some very good wines. This 2005 Bourgogne Rouge is no exception. There are some great notes in the nose, dark fruit and expressive spice. Although just a baby, the wine is drinking well and for under $20, this is a steal for 2005 Burgundy.
