| The prestige of Lirac’s wines can be traced back to the 16th century, although there is plenty of evidence that vines were already planted during the Roman occupation. Syrah dominates, (by law Lirac can contain no more than 40% Grenache), and the Domaine Amido is brimming with luscious blue-black Syrah fruits - plums and blackberries. The wine was all tank-fermented, leaving it with a freshness and charm that still finishes fine and dry. |
