(92-94 Points: International Wine Cellar) Good deep, saturated red. Wonderfully complex nose combines raspberry, musky minerality, smoke and game, all lifted by a floral nuance; an essence of Clos Saint-Jacques. Then silky on the palate, with captivating notes of raspberry, minerals and dried flowers and a lovely light touch. Perhaps most impressive on the slow-building finish, which features sweet, fine-grained tannins and subtle hints of flowers and spices. This has the nobility of a grand cru. A Neal Rosenthal import.
