(90 Points: Wine Advocate)…the 2005 La Mirande, which actually is outstanding and seemingly more structured and tannic than his other two cuvees that are commercialized throughout the world. It is dark ruby and reveals plenty of black cherry and currant fruit along with hints of fig, licorice, and smoke. It is a beautiful wine.
