The cepage is usually 65% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah grown on clay with silt and sand soil (40-year-old vines). Always an elegant Gigondas, the 2007 is especially so. It reveals sweet, peppery, red cherry fruit, medium to full body and a silky texture. It is an authentic dry Provencal red that ready to enjoy now.
