A relatively unknown producer (and seldom reviewed) in the U.S., Danjean-Berthoux produces some very good wines. This is classic white Burgundy from the Givry appellation, and specifically, the La Plante vineyard. A great minerality frames the citric core. There is a purity of Chardonnay fruit that can only come from Burgundy. It is clean and precise and offers a nice stoney quality with a lengthy finish. Great stuff!
