Venturing outside the Tricastin for the first time, Henri Bour bought a parcel of very old vines in Vinsobres, from which he has conjured a simply exclamatory debut wine. It has all the sweet peppery fruit one could wish for, wrapped in a suave, balanced texture. We are accustomed to Syrah eloquence from this house. Grenache is evidently a dialect they speak well, too.
