Made with the usual suspects of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. Deep Violet in color. The Amarone process is unique in that the grape clusters are sun dried for up to three months before being pressed. The technique makes a very strong wine, velvety in texture, filled with burnt plum flavors, and slightly higher in alcohol.
