The vineyard from which this grand cru hails is situated in the municipality of Barolo, and its rich grapes produce a ruby-red wine with garnet highlights. The nose is complex and intense with fruity notes, and, more particularly, the smell of cherries, licorice and tar. This is a classic small production wine with a limited supply. Structured for the long haul but supremely balanced this can be enjoyed now or 20 years down the road.
